I am BACK with my kindergarten lesson plans… AKA Peek at my Week!
I took a few weeks off, but I am super excited about this week! Why you ask? Because I am going to be pushing into a kindergarten classroom for the next 4 weeks. I will be teaching their whole group reading, writing, and math lessons! I can’t hardly stand it! So, SO happy!
We are going to start our week out with hilarious book! Pigsty by Mark Teague.
We will be spend the week knee-deep in comprehension.
Normally, the writing response pages would be completed individually, but I thought it would be fun to have the students respond and create a book… so all of the pages would be together. Here is the book cover I made, you are welcome to it!

The lessons for this book include:
Retelling the Text with Details
Writing an Opinion
Exploring Compound Words
I can’t wait to show you how it turns out!
To celebrate at the end of the week, we will be making a snack similar to this one. I found this image on Pinterest, but it went to a dead link (so sad) otherwise I would link it up!
My plan is to use bananas instead of the marshmallows. I will post pictures when we are done!
