Last week we had a great time with our 3rd grade buddies. We did pumpkin investigations!
Each student brought in their own pumpkin.
Students measured the circumference.
Documenting our data.
We made predictions then tested them out. Yep! They float!
We only cut into my large pumpkin to count the seeds.
Ewww… we counted seeds. Students each counted 10 seeds into a portion cup. Then we counted by 10’s to see how many.
I have updated my Thanksgiving Math Work Stations Unit. It is now twice as large! You can download the updated version at no additional charge.
Here are some pictures of what I have prepared for the next few weeks.
We are also going to use our math game from last year! Sorry for the blurry picture!
I also have my shared reading ready for next week!
Here are the sorts that go with the above poem.
You can find these in the November Shared Reading and Poetry Station Unit.
Here are my lesson plans for next week. I have some repeats because I totally spaced out on a few of the other things we did last week. It put me behind and we never got to somethings…
You will have to hunt around for a few FREEBIES in here:)
