Playdough Recipe Roundup! I have been in the KITCHEN! I know… GASP! I have been seeing so many COOL recipes for playdough that I wanted to try some out myself… WAH-LA
This was really a simple recipe.
2 cups of salt
1 1/2 TBSP of cream of tarter
3 1/5 cups of flour
Mix those together… then add
2 1/2 cups of water
5 TBSP of oil
After I mixed and kneaded the dough until it was smooth, I divided into 3 parts and added food coloring. Needless to say, my hands are all pink right now. BUT it made a ton!
There is something therapeutic about squishing and touching this dough. In fact, this is one of the recommended mediums for people with some types of sensory processing disorders. Additionally, it strengthens the hands and aids in the development of those fine handwriting muscles. Did I mention it is fun?

We had a fantastic time in our small group today. I love it when they say, “I love playing with you at your table.” Yep! Playing and learning! The best combination.
