Bat Lesson Plans! We love the book Stellaluna by Janelle Cannon!
Reading and Writing
These photos came from a sweet teacher. We love seeing our units being used in other classrooms. These are from the Stellaluna lesson in our October Guiding Readers!
The lessons start with predictions! For students who do not have letter/sound association yet, they can make their predictions with illustrations.
But we move onto to other reading strategies. Retelling is always an important part of our Guiding Readers Lessons.
Here are a few more lesson response sheets including inferring and opinion writing!
This is a craft that we have in our Guiding Readers unit.
I really can’t decide which craft I like better, they are both super cute and these bat crafts are both from Crafty Morning. If you click on the pictures, you can find the directions on how to make them.
So maybe I am just hungry, but I feel these would make a fantastic educational experience (ok… I just like the whole chocolate part of it). You can find these on Chelsea’s Messy Apron.
Here are my lesson plans for this week! Click on the image to download the files or HERE.
