Digital Sight Word Practice
Most students need to be exposed to a word 8-12 times before they can truly master and commit the word to memory. Practicing sight words happens throughout the entire year. Students need to review and practice often to master grade-level sight words. Our digital sight word activities are a great way for students to get in that exposure and practice.
We made the activities predictable so that you can introduce and model at the beginning and then students can practice independently for the rest of the year. These activities work great in a center, for morning work, as an early finisher activity, and even to send home. Since the activity is completely digital, you can easily assign this task through Seesaw or Google Classroom during distance learning.
There are 245 sight words with digital activities. For each sight word, students complete tasks such as tracing and writing the word, searching and finding the word, completing a sentence with the missing word, and even more!
The activities are preloaded to Seesaw. This makes assigning the tasks SO EASY! We’ve included all of the links in a PDF inside of the product download. Simply, click on the word to add it to your Seesaw library. From there, you can easily assign the activities to your students.
