# Games for Kindergarten

Games for kindergarten! As you know, I love to include games in my daily instruction and share my downloadable kindergarten learning games.

### Math and Literacy Games for Kindergarten

A while back I created resources to go with the Differentiated Instruction Cubes and my class pretty much flipped over them.
In this activity, the students roll both dice and create an equation!  Then they solve it!
Someone asked me if I would go back and make “I Can” cards for this activity.    WAH-LA!

You can select the ending sounds you want to have your students focus on and the response sheet is editable.
There are several ways to use these cubes… Students can use them to make 10.  They can also create and solve addition, or subtraction problems.
You can select the numbers you want to have your students focus on and the editable response sheet.
You can also have students find one more or one less.

Students are working on short vowel sounds.  They roll the cube and color the picture that has the same vowel sound.

Again, there are multiple ways to work with these tally marks.
Students coll the cube to make words.  Then they determine if they are real words or nonsense words.
10 frames
Syllables
AND sight words that you can program yourself!
If you have already purchased this unit, you can just redownload it from “My Purchases” to get the update.
We love these games for kindergarten!  Having editable activities makes it even better so you can customize this activity to your classroom needs.

Question: Any chance you train teachers on how create materials? I don't know how you make the worksheets, games, and lessons especially the editable ones? Is there a class that you have taken?

My teaching career allowed me to experience teaching to different age groups and in different classroom environments. My heart belongs to early childhood education and I love working with other teachers who share this same love as me. Read More
