Are you ready for another week of apple fun! Here are some lesson plans that will make your apple week the best one yet!
This is a fun math fluency game that is great for any time of the year. It addresses subitizing, numeral recognition, reading number words, counting, addition and subtraction. The best part is that it is totally differentiated. So you can pick the skills your students need to practice the most. You can click on the image to find it.

Apple Crafts
I have been collecting ideas for apple week on my Pinterest boards. Here are a few that caught my eye that I think would be fun!
This is a pretty adorable apple activity craft. You can find out more on this activity HERE. I love paper torn crafts!
How cute is this little apple craft? FINALLY, something to do with those toilet paper rolls! Ha! This activity is from the same site as above, click HERE for more information. You could have students add labels to this craft to discuss the parts of an apple.
Hello cuteness! How fun are these apples? You can see how these were made by clicking HERE. This would be great for working on fine motor skills and it would make a great parent gift as well!

Deedee!! How do you always read my mind?!? I hopped over to your site to gear up for my first day of Writers’ Workshop tomorrow (I know, I know, we’re starting late, but I wasn’t ready before now, I’m scared!) and here’s a post about Apples, which I am doing in 2 weeks! I loved looking at your ideas and plans, and love even more that my lesson plans look verrrry similar to yours! I can’t thank you enough for the virtual support you’re giving this first year teacher!
