The new common core standards ask kindergarten students to compose and decompose numbers 11-19 into tens and ones.

Here is a little game your kiddos can play to practice just that!  It is free and you can find a link to this activity at the end of this post.

Here is another activity for place value that was discussed on p. 138 of her book.  Students will count, sort, and discuss numbers 11-20.

    These are great DeeDee! U get a star for sharing! Do you have a Smartboard? I just posted a few games to go along with ch.5 in Math Workstations. (I'm a little behind and haven't made it to ch. 6 yet! )
