My class always loves the Groundhog Day poem.  On Fridays, we demonstrate our fluency.  One year, I covered the clip art and then copied it.  I then had the students illustrate their reader.
You can find the reader in my Poetry Station unit HERE.  You can find the recorded music HERE.
This cute little story was included in our Listen Up: Listening Stations units last year.
You can see all of the Listen Up units HERE.  If you have a “Listening station” or “Listen to Reading” activity, these response sheets will help extend the learning.
I also included Groundhog Day themed activities in the February Stamping It! unit.
We are expecting a foot of snow… so come on Mr. Groundhog!  Help us out!
