AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER KINDERGARTEN CENTERS
LITERACY CENTERS
Colorful Alphabet – Students will say the letter name on the center card. Then, they color a crayon next to the correct letter on their response sheet. ABC centers are perfect for the beginning of the year!
Back to School Letter Sounds – Students match a letter card to the correct picture card to show the beginning sound. Students then practice letter formation when they write the letter on the response sheet. There are 3 different sets for this literacy center.
Smarty Snakes – Students say the names of the uppercase letters on the center cards. Then they color the matching lowercase letters and write the letters on the lines. Another great way to practice letter recognition at the beginning of the school year.
Whoo Has a Letter? – In this simple activity, students practice print concepts by sorting the words and letters.
Rainbow Alphabet – Kindergarten students have a great time tracing or coloring the letters of the alphabet to match their cards.
Sentences for Back to School – Students match each picture with the correct sentence and practice writing those sentences.
Curvy or Straight Letters? – Students determine if the letters have curvy or straight lines.
Back to School Syllables – Students clap out the number of syllables and color a school bus for each syllable.
MATH CENTERS – For this set of math centers, students work with numbers 1-6.

On our Way with 10 Frames – Students color ten frames to match their number cards.
Trace the Shape – Students say the name of the 2D shape on their card and trace the correct shape on their response sheet.
Missing Pencils – Students identify the missing number and write the numbers in order.

What teachers are saying…
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“This has been one of the BEST purchases for me on TPT! I love the activities, the I Can statements, the standards each activity addresses and the recording sheets to show the students are working on mastery and what extra help they need! I highly recommend purchasing this product because it will make your Stations more productive and aligned with the standards.” – Daniela S.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I was new to kindergarten this year and her center work was great in helping my students get to work at their centers/workstations. The format was the same and for a lot of the activities which students were able to work independently while I worked with small groups.” – Pattie P.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Once you prep the pieces they are so easy to grab for a quick literacy or math center. I love that a lot of the activities stay the same but change to match themes. Once you have modeled an activity the students will know what to do because the process is the same. This is such a great resource and is totally worth the money.” – Katie C.
