  • Place Value with 3 Digit Numbers – kindergarten and first grade students will read the given number and write the number that represents the hundreds digits, the tens digits and the ones digits. This is a great way for young minds to practice place value.
  • Count the Tens and Ones – kindergarten and first grade students will count the manipulatives and write the correct tens digit and ones digit. This is great activity for teachers to use when they are teaching place values.
  • Two-Digit Numbers – kindergarten and first grade students will read the two-digit number given and draw tens and ones to represent the number. Then they will color the tens and ones a different color. Your students will have so much fun identifying the tens and ones.
  • Place Value Charts – kindergarten and first grade students will count the number of hundreds, tens and ones given then write the digits to represent the place value of numbers.
  • What number am I? – kindergarten and first grade students will read the three-digit number given, and write the number of hundreds, tens and ones in the place value chart. This is fun practice for students to work with numbers that have different place values.
  • Let’s Compare Digits – kindergarten students and first grade students will underline the number in the tens place in both numbers. Then use the greater than, less than or equal sign to compare the numbers in the tens place. This is a great way for young students to practice comparing numbers.
  • Two-Digit Number Fun – kindergarten and first grade students will read the two-digit number given, then write 1 more, 1 less, 10 more and 10 less than the number given. This is a fun way to make sure young learners are practicing mental math.
  • 10 More and 10 Less – kindergarteners and 1st graders will look at the number in the middle, underline the number in the tens place, then write 10 more than the given number and 10 less than the given number.
  • Cut & Paste with 2-Digit Numbers – kindergarten and first grade students will count the tens and ones given then cut and glue the correct number that is represented with the manipulatives.
  • Three-Digit Numbers – kindergarteners and first graders will read the three-digit number and write the number of hundreds, tens, and ones in the place value table. This is a great way to tell if your students are grasping the understanding of place value.
