Suggestions on how to use these fun phonics activities:

• Teach the game as a whole group activity for several weeks before adding it as a literacy center.
• Use the sorting cards to help students become familiar with all of the different pictures. Although most pictures represent simple words, some students might not have the oral language for each image.
• You may want to start with the simple letter recognition skills game.
• You can also teach this game during your small groups.
