I’m not sure which of the books in the series is my favorite! I think I read If You Give a Moose a Muffin a MILLION times to The Perfect Son when he was little. But then again… this PIG! Love! Her!

About 5 years ago, I made a Math and Literacy center pack that goes with this series of books. The other day I looked at it and hung my head. It was time for an update… so here it is!
Laura Numeroff classroom activities: Math Centers
This is a subitizing BUMP game that can be played with one or two dice! My class loves BUMP! Once they know the structure of the game, it is easy to swap out activities for new ones.
Students are using these cards to skip count!
This math center is about matching up the time! So fun!
Of course, we have a little addition center too!
Students are creating patterns with this fun book!

In this literacy center, students will spin the spinner and write the ending sounds!
Here is a roll and color sight word activity.
Students sort these words by their word families.
Sorting syllables too!
Write the room is always a classroom favorite. Students are filling in the short vowel sounds in these CVC words.
