Amazon Classroom Tools Kindergarten Teachers Love
Center time is meant to feel fun, independent, and smooth… but oh my goodness, it can slide into “Where did all the pieces go?” chaos so fast. I’ve been there.
One thing that helped me simplify my own centers was leaning on a few trusty Amazon tools. They take the pressure off prep, keep things organized, and help students do more on their own. Whether you’re brand-new to centers or just ready for a little refresh, these favorites really do make center time feel lighter.
And the best part? They’re just a couple of clicks away.

Favorite Amazon Classroom Supplies
Here’s the truth. You can have the cutest printable centers in the world, but if the materials are scattered, the pieces disappear, or students aren’t sure what to do… center time falls apart fast.
I hear these same concerns all the time from teachers:
- “I love the idea of centers, but I struggle to keep everything together.”
- “I don’t know how to set things up so kids can do them without help.”
That’s exactly why I love these Amazon tools. When I was teaching, I didn’t always have access to easy shopping options, so finding things I could count on (and reorder if needed!) was such a gift. Amazon truly changed the game for me.
Pocket Dice Cubes
These dry-erase pocket cubes is a classroom favorite item! They turn any activity into a fun, interactive game, just slide in your own cards to customize them. They are great for math facts, sight words, or a variety of kindergarten skills. They’re durable, lightweight, and perfect for both whole-group review and small group practice. I love using them in center activities because students are beyond excited to use them.
Teachers love how easy they are to adapt for any subject or skill level, plus, they instantly boost engagement with zero prep!
TIP: Teach your students to roll the dice in a bin. It will keep the dice from flying across the room.

Transparent Spinners
We used these transparent spinners every single day! They are a must-have for hands-on games and activities in kindergarten centers. Simply place them over any spinner printable to instantly create interactive math, phonics, or choice board tasks — no brads or cutting required. They’re sturdy, mess-free, and endlessly reusable, making them a teacher favorite for center time and small group games. I love how durable they are, but they are also great for little hands.

Photo Boxes for Storage
I love these photo cases for lots of things. The small size is perfect for organizing task cards, word work, math games, or seasonal centers. Each 4″ x 6″ case is just the right size for grab-and-go activities, and the color-coded design makes sorting by subject or skill a breeze. Durable, portable, and stackable, these storage bins are a teacher favorite for keeping center materials tidy and accessible all year long.
I used these boxes a few different ways, but I shrunk my Bump games down by adjusting my printer settings and printing four pages on one page. Then they fit perfectly into these photo boxes. The students I was working with lost. their. minds! This gave the whole Polly Pocket vibe. They were obsessed!

Magnetic Letters
These rainbow magnetic letters are perfect for hands-on literacy centers, helping young learners build words, practice phonics, and recognize letters through play. Dry Erase Board Sticker- Whiteboard Stickers
These self-adhesive dry-erase sheets stick to desks, walls, folders, or center bins to create instant write-and-wipe surfaces anywhere in your classroom. At 8.5″ x 11″, they’re the perfect size for student workspaces, center directions, or reusable practice pages for math and literacy. I loved using them in my printer. I printed handwriting paper on it, then added it to my clipboard. It made it really easy to demonstrate letter or number formation on the fly!
You can also add dry erase markers to your classroom supply list at the beginning of the year. Remember, we want the writing grip to be reminiscent of a pencil grip. Plus, students are able to focus on the path of motion better with the fine tip.
Classroom Doorbell (Made by a Teacher)
Friends, this is NOT an Amazon link, but I know many people might look on there.
This beautiful, sparkly rainbow wireless doorbell is one of the best classroom management tools out there! It was made by Greg Smedley from The Kindergarten Smorgasboard. Sadly, some other manufacturers have taken their images and design and claimed it as their own. So RESIST the Amazon version for two reasons.
- Because cheaters should not prosper.
- The quality on the Amazon knock off is horrible and you might be unhappy with your purchase.

It is a fun and effective classroom management tool that helps you get students’ attention without raising your voice. With 38 chimes… hello new best friend… 38! plus adjustable volume, and a handheld remote on a glittery lanyard. This lanyard will save your sanity! You won’t be wondering, “Now, where did I put that?” Whether you’re signaling transitions, clean-up time, or attention during centers, this doorbell brings structure and sparkle to your classroom.
Recordable Answer Buzzers
These recordable answer buzzers can be used in lots of different ways, but I will tell you my favorite way. I liked to record instructions on them for students. Sometimes I would record a note about how to do a center activity. Sometimes I would record words of encouragement to a specific student. Each buzzer can be programmed with up to 30 seconds of custom audio, so you can add directions, sounds, or even student-created responses. This is one of those classroom tools that will support your students all year long.
Event Bracelets
Although these were not really a center activity, I used event bracelets as a way to help students focus on specific letters, numbers or words I wanted them to practice for the week. Construction paper lasts about 5 seconds, but these event bracelets stay on for DAYS!
This was especially helpful for my intervention students. I would write their focus letters or words on the bracelet. As we transitioned throughout the day, I could direct the child’s focus to their bracelet and ask them to read it for me. It is a great way to sneak a few extra moments of practice throughout the day.
Dry Erase Sleeves
I’m not going to lie, there is a therapeutic nature to the laminating machine. I love it. It soothes. However, it is not really great for the planet, and I made a switch to use it ONLY when necessary. Instead dry erase sleeves turn any printable into a reusable activity, just slide in your worksheet, hand out markers, and go! They’re perfect for literacy and math centers, morning work, fast finisher bins, or even sub plans. Teachers love how they also reduce prep, and give students hands-on practice with a variety of skills all year long.
