We use this book for so many things… but let me start with the reading comprehension lessons!

Problem and solution:  Students discuss the problem and the solution these characters faced.

Students also are loving the interactive retelling part of these units!

This class also did an inferring lesson!  I love the students not only put their thoughts down, but they also supported them with text evidence!

Students also stated their options with a supporting reason!  WIN!

Little Red Riding Hood Lesson Plans: Craft and Sentence Study

Look how cute this Little Red Riding Hood craft came out!  The craft is coupled with a sentence study activity!

Little Red Riding Hood Lesson Plans: Guided Reading

Students were able to read the same story with our guided reading set of books.  Each of these sets comes with leveled texts from AA-J!

Word work and phonics lessons are also included!

Students are using Elkonin Boxes to segment and blend two phoneme words.

Students used these word tiles to make words as they manipulate phonemes.

Students practice counting and numeral formation.

Beginning sounds puzzles!

CVC word puzzles!

Letter formation practice!  Look at the concentration…LOL!

Letter identification!  This also has an editable sight word version too!  This board game is a great way to practice skills without students losing interest.
