Winter Olympics Math and Literacy Centers
Many years ago, I created these Winter Olympics center activities to use in my kindergarten classroom. I have updated them a few times, and they just keep getting better! Here is a peek at what is included.
And truly… these centers bring SO much excitement into the room! There’s something magical about pairing academic skills with Winter Olympics activities, younger children suddenly become little athletes racing to sort sounds, solve equations, or build words. It’s also a great opportunity to introduce different winter sports in a playful, developmentally-friendly way. The engagement shoots through the roof, and you can feel the energy shift the moment these centers come out. Your young children will absolutely love them!
